I hate that laundry tabs are the first thing to wear out in an aplix system, making washing much harder on the dipes. We like snaps a lot better.
I added your button to my blog's sidebar.

I like aplix...for mobile, squirmy babies, aplix is much easier to fasten when they are in weird positions and adjust as needed. Trying to get snaps fastened on my lo is enough to make us both crazy!

I prefer the velcro closure because it seems like it would be stronger and stay closed.

Todays Entry: Not all snaps are created equal...I love the sturdiness of the snaps on my Organic Bum Genius diapers but, I have found the snaps on my Blueberry one size coverall to be less sturdy and they come un-done much easier. Since the snap down option on my GroBaby is nice and sturdy I'm sure the new vanilla snap version is fantastic & I hope to try it out.

I prefer aplix for a young baby and snaps on a toddler.
I prefer hook and loop closures, but my baby is still fairly small. I have a feeling that I'll prefer snaps when he's a little older so he can't take his own diaper off.

I think I prefer snaps but still not 100% sure which one I like better.
Snaps all the way, my velcro closures are falling apart in the laundry.

Today's entry: I've noticed each kind of diaper has different snaps or aplix and sometimes I like the snaps better because it fits my son better and sometimes I like the aplix better because it fits him better.
normally, I'm a snap girl. I have several hook and loop Grobabys and like them but would love to try snaps, too!
I prefer snaps for durability, but I think aplix is easier to use.
Aplix, it's quicker.

Though I do prefer snaps on most all diapers, I do heart the aplix of the Grobaby OS. No diaper trains coming out the wash and Baby B doesnt mess with it like he does his other aplix diapers.
hottmommie84(at)yahoo(dot)com
I definitely love snaps closure on my cloth diapers because I know that it lasts longer than the aplix version due to lint and wearing out of the velcro. Im absolutely a snaps girl, well for my daughter anyway =P
I'd prefer to have snaps, because my children learn quickly to remove their diapers, and I'd rather have that extra insurance.
I prefer both. Aplix for hubby & my mom; snaps for durability.

I like the snaps better. I have more velcro diapers currently, but they do not seem to be holding up as well as my snaps. Long life span really matters to me so I think snaps are the way to go. I'm glad to see GroBaby now have snaps, too. I ordered a few awhile back and they were only offering aplix. Good diaper either way I'm sure.
I prefer snaps over aplix with my 2 year old, but I prefer aplix with my newborn because it has more adjustability.
I forgot to say on my comment yesterday why I like Velcro - because I can get a good fit for my fluffy-bellied baby! =)
I love the ease of hook and loop. Unfortunately, my lo can take off his velcro diapers so we are switching to snaps.

I do love my snap diapers, but after seeing Serena's video, and how squirmy these little people can get, I really appreciate my velcro.
I prefer snaps because I think they hold up much better, but the aplix is better for quick changes and when DH is on diaper duty.
I would prefer hook and loop!

For my newborn and very young babies I prefer aplix but for my toddler I have been using snaps just because that is what I have in pocket diapers and I converted to those when my guy got too squirmy for prefolds and covers.
I'm a velcro user who is very excited to check out the velcro on Gro Baby.
I commented on the Gro Baby video post.
It's such a tough question. I THINK I like snap closures a little more but most of my stash is aplix. I have one GroBaby diaper and am saving my money for some more so would love to win this one!

I can definitely see how aplix allows for a tighter fit, so I might be more intrigued by that style if it were not for my 16-month old who loves to take off her diapers!
I love snap diapers, Leo hasnt figured out how to undo them yet.
Commented on the "Tight Job Markets" post.
I like both for different reasons. Snaps because they last longer and no worries about laundry tabs. Aplix because it seems to get a better fit. Especially on a little baby.

I'm a brand new cloth diaperer, but my experience with snaps, so far, has not been good. I have a little girl with chubby little thighs and I find that the snap closure settings make things too tight in the legs and too loose in the waist for her. I have learned that the first snap closure I make is for her legs and the second tends to adjust the waist, so that has helped some, but the applix closures are so wonderfully easy to use, that although they are ALREADY showing signes of wear, I will probably buy more of them more quickly. What a dilema! Also, some snaps on super thin material feel like they are going to yank a hole in the fabric before they ever give way. Yikes!

I started with velcro, then switched to mainly snaps, but miss some of the adjustability of velcro. Would love to try this diaper!

I'm into snaps right now because repairing aplix is not fun! ;)

Today's comment: I didn't have snap diapers until my daughter was nearly 18 mo. old. So it's rare for her to get up in the middle of the night. One night she had a tummy-ach and when I went to change her diaper in the dark I realized that I needed some light to properly fasten the snap closures. That's probably where aplix is the easiest & most convenient...middle of the night diaper changes. But now that I have been using the snaps for a while I can fasten it in the dark w/ out a problem.

I like snaps better because they are harder for my son to undo at 20 months. They also hold up better in the dryer. I do love aplix for the better fit but its easy for my son to take off right now.

I love the fit I can usually get with Aplix, but I hate the way it "catches" on everything (the inside of the diaper, other item in the wash, lint and other things).

Well, velcro is infinitely adjustable and he does wiggle on the changing table these days.
I am just starting my research into cloth diapering and plan to convert from disposables to cloth soon. That being said, I have been drawn to snap closures this whole time!

snaps are the best because it will not wear out and curl like the velcro!

I love the Aplix, because the extra small hooks and loops are easy to fasten and don't get stuck on things like other diaper covers. I would also love to try snaps, though.

I'd really like to try both the snap and applix version - I do wish the snap came in a variety of colors.
So today I am rooting for snaps. My little lady enjoyed pulling and pushing on her diap while nursing. I think she likes the sound and it is soothing. The only problem is when she is done and I pick her up, she falls right out of it. :)
I prefer snaps for durability but aplix for ease.
I love snaps on the cloth diapers because it will last longer than a velcro closure!
I prefer both for different reasons: velcro is easy for hubby; snaps are harder to take off and seem to last longer.
