I really like snaps better because I feel like they last longer but DH always seems to have a hard time getting them right! So when he is on diaper duty I usually have him use out aplix dipes.

I prefer snaps, they don't catch on anything in the wash (my husband never remembers to fold them back) and I think they are cuter! Plus my little boy is only 5 months and already he can take his velcro diaper off!

I like both, I like applix because it is easy to use on a wiggly baby and you can get a geat fit. But snaps are great too, they hold up better and a older baby can not get them off as easy.
I think I am leaning towards smap closure as I hear the aplix closure can wear out. currently, I used both!

Snaps! Repairing aplix is not fun right now. ;)
I prefer aplix for most of my diapers on a squirmy baby. I seem to get a quicker change and a better fit with it but I want to like snaps better so I have been adding a few to my stash. I am finding my aplix diapers to not be holding up as well.

I would choose snaps because they last longer and don't catch on anything.

I would love the aplix diaper, I'm trying to switch over to the velcro design for the ease of it all.

I prefer the ease of hook and loop, but the sturdiness of snaps, so I guess I'd love both and go back and forth depending on the given day. I am watching you guys on Twitter. Keep up the great updates!!

Daily Entry: I think I'd like the Aplix for a newborn because they won't be likely to tear it off and you can get a really snug fit on their little bellies!

I have the velcro diapers (BumGenius) and really like those, but have never used a snap version diaper... so I would possibly like those as well if I had that option. I think that velcro diapers would be easier, but I do sometimes worry that they will wear out faster. My daughter does like to take off the diapers when she gets a chance, but she hasn't figured out how to get them off with pants on yet anyways!

I prefer snaps for durability, but aplix for ease.
I definitely prefer the snaps because I would like my diapers to last a very long time. I do not want the velcro wearing out or attractin lint and hair! Although velcro is easier to put on I will sacrifice that for the longevity of my diapers.

I prefer snaps because babies can't undo them & they seem to last longer w/o looking old/used.

For my toddler, I am going to say I prefer snaps. She likes to take her diaper off, and the aplix or velcro closure comes off in a second. Also snaps will last through multiple children.
My baby is starting to pull off his own diapers so I'm going for snaps!
I prefer snaps because in the long run I think they hold up better than velcro, although their velcro looks nice.

Snaps make it a lot easier these days to keep the diaper on my toddler!
snap closures seem like they would hold up better, but I wish they came in other colors (even though vanilla is adorable)

I used to be velcro-only, then as they wore out and DD got good at getting out of them - I turned to snaps and LOVE THEM.
But I'm intrigued by the supposed wonderfulness of the GroBaby hook & loop, and would happily try either one.
:)
I usually will pick snaps. There is no laundry tab to worry about. And no little streaker around the house. However, I feel that when a baby is little, aplix gets a better fit.

I like the aplix closure better b/c my child is squirmy that snaps are difficult.
I LOVE the ease of hook and loop...but they just don't hold up. I am currently switching my stash to snaps.

I find snaps some times hard to use, but I'm excited to try them on some different diapers to see if they might still work for us.

I like snaps a lot better just because they seem to hold up better, your child can't pull them off and they wash better. However the velcro and aplix are quicker to put on. I only have a few aplix and I like them better than velcro, they don't ruin as quickly. I'd love to win the snap!

I like the aplix for middle of the night diaper changes and squirmy toddlers. But I like the snaps for their durability. So it really is a toss up for us!

Today's Entry: There is something about the velcro on the GroBabys that makes it lay smoother so my 21 month old has yet to try to undo the tabs....where as with the Bum Genius aplix, she un-did them a ll the time. So I really LOVE GroBaby's aplix.

I prefer Aplix - quicker. Although I like that snaps aren't scratchy when carrying the baby in just a diaper.

I've mostly used aplix and like how adjustable and quick they are, however I've noticed the Aplix is wearing out... so might prefer snaps if they lasted longer.

I prefer snap closure because it's just a tiny bit harder for my 2.5 year old to get off (NOT that it stops him) and holds up better to his tossing and turning at night!
