I would buy lots of GroVia and BumGenius 4.0 diapers!
I'm pretty new to the modern cloth diapering systems. I'm used to prefolds and vinyl/plastic covers. So I'd buy one of everything I could find great reviews on to find what worked for us and then take the plunge.

Would that be heaven or what?! I would choose a bunch of GroVia snaps (AIO and hybrids), some kissaluv wool soakers, some kissaluv Marvels, Goodmamas, Knickernappies, Thirsties covers and last but not least Goodmama newborns for the next baby!
Also fan on fb and follower of your blog!
mostly fuzzi bunz! (my favorite) mixture of OS and Perfect fit. I think I would have fun spending the money of cloth diaper accessories (wet bags, travel bags, sprayers, and cute cloth wipes!)
I placed an order.

If I had $500 to spend on cloth I think I would get some Muttaqins 3 Step Rise AIO diapers to try. I have been drooling over them for over a year. I would also get another PLanetwise Wet/Dry bag, and then try a Leslie's boutique wet bag. I would then get some Ragababe Easy AIO diapers to try. Then I would get some Thirsties AIO in M with the pockets. Then I might splurge on some Sustainable babyish wool karate pants. :D
I would probably get bumGenius (more if they had brighter colors) and Flip. I recently got a couple Tweedle Bugs and I LOVE the way they fit my long guy. I do love the bright Fuzzibunz colors though!

WOW. Really Tough. I would purchase one of each of the diapers I've been wanting to try, particularly Fuzzibunz One Size, Knickernappies, Best Bottoms, Soft Bums...to name a few. I really love the mission of envibum, so I'd save a little aside and after trying it, if I love it, get a few more of those. That's off the top of my head but after more thought I could tell you exactly which ones I'd try!

If I had $500 to spend on cloth diapers I would buy the Grovia diapers with organic inserts....I have so wanted to try them because I have heard such good things.

I would buy some newborn diapers for my little one, due Nov 9th, that i can't afford but desperately need. Then i would buy some new inserts, try a few new diapers, and the rest i would get all kinds of diapers and send them to others who couldn't afford them and needed them.

If I had $500 to spend on cloth diapers, I'd buy at least 2 of each kind since I'm still expecting my first and haven't tried any yet! Not to mention the supplies that go with!
Since my little one has yet to arrive and I haven't had any "hands on" experience with my stash... With $500, I'd buy a bunch of brands I've read good reviews about and have been dying to try: Bum Genius, Flip, GroVia, Smartipants, Envibum, Babykicks, Rumparooz and Katydid.

With $500 dollars to spend on cloth diapers I would choose a variety of systems to fit my current lifestyle. I am a mother of an 11 year old and soon to be newborn. I am also currently finishing my PhD (last year). My lovely husband will be at home with the baby during the mornings and afternoons while I am at school writing away-and I will take the evening and night shift. I would buy something that allows for the flexibility of both of our diapering styles. He would need some AIO's, Pockets, or Fitted. I could handle the pre-folded and/or sleeves. We would definitely invest in OS to ensure we can use them with future kids of various sizes (my first was almost ten lbs!) I would buy a variety of brands because each child is different and each stage of their growth process is as well! As we are on a limited budget while I finish my studies, I would buy pails, liners, detergent and all! I would stretch that money!
@diapershops #clothdiapers-I am soon to be a first time cloth diaper mommy-I hope they are as great as your site says!

Honestly I'd get a few of the new bg 4.0 to try out for night time and maybe rumparoos (i believe I heard they are great nighttime diap). Then I would buy some GroVia in patterns, maybe enough to replace my older GroBaby's that aren't the soft organic cotton.
Lastly I would buy a red and a black gDiaper (who could resist) and more cloth inserts for gdiapers. I'd try out the gdiaper ones, maybe 2 sets, and with what is left over buy more happy heiny joey bunz to use a cotton double on top (since I will have gotten so many from the grovias!).
did I spend too much? :)
I would purchase some more OS pockets (i am Liking Knickernappies) and some GroVia AIO since they can be pulled down like a Trainer. I think LO is starting to want to PL.
Fan of the CDW fan page
i would try all the diapers i don't have. i have a bunch of happy heineys and bumgenious, but i love to try new dipes. just hate to spend money on them only to find out they don't work for me.

If I was given $500 to spend on fluff, I'd probably try out some diapers that I'm 'afraid' of...LOL. I'd probably give some prefolds a try, and maybe some fitteds. And some fuzzibunz. I have a great stash already, so I hate to spend the money just to try things out...as much as I'd love to. ;)

I've spent about $500 in the last month getting my stash started because we just switched over to cloth.
In retrospect, I wish we'd gotten a few less prefolds and a few more covers. I understand how the process works better now, and I really like the one-size covers (like BG), but also like to have some of the AIOs for the folks who watch my baby and don't care for cloth.
I would purchase the GroVia AIO in vanilla because it's so natural and earthy looking, plus they hold up really well. What an amazing gift that would be!! :)
If I had $500 dollars to purchase diapers I would buy more of the bumGenius AIO Oganics. I love that diaper! I would also want to try out the GroVia and Rump-a-rooz diapers too because I have heard so many good things about them, but am too chicken to spend my money on anything other than what I know I will love.
What a fun question! Since we bought all our diapers used I would buy some different brands of diapers NEW! Fuzzibunz, Bum Genius and try a few others I have seen.
