When we travel, we use Bum Genius because it keeps her from having moisture up against her in long car rides.

I use seventh generation diapers for longer trips with no access to laundry, and gro-via or gdiapers for shorter trips or those where I have access to a laundry machine of any kind. When we go visit my parents at their summer house this summer, I'll just bring cloth!

Depending on how long we'll be gone, I just store my regular cloth until we get home. Or I've used disposables. I just got a few GroVia so I'm ready to try new things.

The same thing we use at home - cloth! Monkey Snuggles bamboo fitteds with Blueberry one-size snap-closure covers.
I usually just use my prefolds and covers, but I'm going camping in a few weeks and will use flip covers with the disposable inserts.
I'm expecting my first baby in June, so I haven't had to "travel" w/ baby yet. I was planning on using my cloth diapers and just carrying a wet bag in my diaper bag to put used diapers in. I will probably take my AIOs when out to make changing easier.
We use disposables when we travel.

i plan to use the disposables for travel, but i haven't had my baby yet so i may love the cloth and find them easy for travel as well.
It depends on where we're going and for how long. If visiting friends with a washer, cloth diapers came with us. If going camping or staying at a hotel, we used our 7th Gen. disposables.
If it's a short trip (less than 2-3 diaper changes) we take cloth. If it's a longer trip, we take sposies for now but we're trying to find a hybrid system we like.

I used the old GroBaby when we went on a week long trip back in Feb. We used the biosoakers (though they seemed to smell to me). We havent' gone on any trips since, and I'm not sure if I'd do the same thing if we did or find something different

We use disposables when we travel. It's just way easier and more convenient. With all the other planning that goes into traveling, it's just too much to try to figure out how to store/wash dirty cloth diapers while on the road!
I'm still using disposables when I travel. Right now I'm trying Target's Up&Up brand, but I find them leaking so I'll probably buy Luvs for our next trip.

My favorite for on the go is GroBaby shells with the GroBaby disposable inserts. I don't have any of the new GroVia line, but would love to give those a test run when we're out and about! I absolutely love the convenience of not having to bring soiled diapers back into the house, and I can rest easy knowing that they're biodegradable, safe for my baby, and safe for the earth. For wipes I just use washcloths and a squirt bottle filled with water and a few drops of essential oils. Cleans better than any commercial wipe I've ever seen!! Thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest!

I'm traveling this weekend and using GroVia with the disposable insert. I love the GroVia cloth diapers at home and at daycare and the GroVia wraps and biodegradable inserts when traveling for more than one day.
I'm also using the inserts when camping in a few week. Hubby, Baby and I love this product!

For traveling I use BG 3.0 OS. Although I will use prefolds w/Thirsties cover if need be.

When we travel, it kinda depends on where we're going. To my parents we use cloth, at the kids god mother we use hybrid, and if driving for more than 3 hours or staying in a hotel we use disposable.
I try to use cloth as much as possible when we travel.
However, my mom's fabric softener dispenser is caked with softener and I don't know if I want to put my dipes and my little girl's bum through that. ;)

I haven't gotten a chance to travel yet, since I'm due with our first baby in 3 weeks! But I was going to try using cloth (BumGenius) while traveling. If that doesn't work out, I'll try using 7th Gen disposables. I'd love to get a chance to try the GroVias though!
I am just starting out cloth diapering so all I have right now are GroVia and I am loving them so that's what I use when I am traveling.

We use bumGenius when we travel. We also use gro-via, flip, and Mommy's Touch at home, but bumgenius keeps the moisture from his skin much better.
I have not traveled with baby in cloth. the one time we were out of town for any length of time my hubby won and we used disposables. I do have some GroBaby dipes and would love to try the new grovia.

When we're out and about - running errands or for an overnight - we use pocket diapers. The stay-dry liner keeps baby happier for longer and means less frequent changes. If we'll be gone for multiple days without laundry facilities, then I use disposables (I don't want to deal with ANY diaper washing - even the infrequent covers).
What type (cloth, disposable,or hybrid) and brand of diaper system do you use when you travel with baby?
I try to use cloth during travel, it isn't any harder for me, but for relatives I always bring disposibles just in case. I would LOVE to try a hybrid diaper system too!
I use Bum Genius one size cloth diapers at home and when traveling. If we're going to be away, I usually use a biodegradable, flushable insert during the night so #2's are easy to deal with the next morning (just flush, no spraying necessary).

I have traveled with GroBaby, FuzziBunz, gDiapers and regular sposies (only once!).
If we're flying (pretty rare), I take disposables (7th Generation or Tushies).
If we're driving (the vast majority of the time), I take our cloth stash on the road and wash it wherever we're staying! We leave in the morning for a week-long visit to the grandparents, and I'll take enough fitteds and flats with covers to last my daughter two days.
We like Hybrid. BumEssentials are our favs!

I just started cloth diapering less than a month ago, so we haven't traveled yet. But, I have a feeling we will do a mix of things depending on where we are going. When we visit family, we will do cloth while there and disposables at least for dd on the road (she can fill an overnight disposable in 4 hours, so cloth would mean stopping WAY too often). When we go other places, it will just depend on laundry facilities and the activities we have planned.
